The City of Cincinnati, through its Water Works department's Stormwater Management Utility (SMU), is seeking proposals for the design of replacement trash racks at the Mill Creek Barrier Dam, whose existing trash racks are nearly 80 years old and deteriorated. The selected firm will develop a plan to dredge, remove, and dispose of silt in the dam's forebay, design the new trash racks, prepare a construction bid package for their replacement with newly manufactured racks, and provide construction oversight. This is an active procurement for professional engineering/design services (not a grant program), with submissions due through the City of Cincinnati procurement portal.
