Medium Voltage Transformer Replacement
This project re-builds existing medium voltage unit substation damaged by transformer fire during Fall 2025. Unit substation is located inside medium voltage electrical room. Project replaces unit substation transformer and cleans/maintains associated fused load interrupter switch. Project replaces medium voltage cables from exterior pad mounted switch to unit substation transformer. Project replaces secondary conductors from unit substation transformer to main distribution switchboard. Project also removes temporary normal power equipment and wiring installed after fire event.

RWCF 60kV Transformer Replacement
Work consists of remove and disconnect an existing 60kv transformer and store on the city's boneyard property; install new city furnished 60kv transformer on existing concrete pad; coordination with manufacturer to install all bushing and fluids; connect primary, secondary, and control wiring; provide substation grounding; provide rental generator(s) to continuously supply 5,000 kw of power throughout the duration of the project and ensure no power interruption.
