Description: The solicitation seeks to acquire digital optical microscopy equipment capable of analyzing structures and conducting LIBS chemical analyses, together with the computer and software required for operation and data analysis for the UQTR-INRS joint research unit. The microscope will be used to study metallurgical, ceramic, and cermet samples, with emphasis on laser-induced plasma spectroscopy of materials containing lithium and aluminum and their alloying elements and impurities. It is intended to provide a flexible preliminary analytical interface across testing protocols, from preliminary analysis and benchmarking to post-mortem analysis.
