The City of Lebanon (Public Works - Engineering) is soliciting sealed bids for the Mechanic Street Sidewalk Project to construct a pedestrian sidewalk along the south side of Mechanic Street, including granite curbing, bituminous concrete sidewalk, driveway apron reconstruction, stormwater infrastructure, a concrete block retaining wall, landscape restoration, and roadway patching. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for January 14, 2026 at 10:00am ET and questions are due January 21, 2026; proposal submissions are due January 28, 2026 at 12:00pm ET. Construction of a new pedestrian sidewalk along the south side of mechanic street. The sidewalk will extend an existing sidewalk and be constructed between 95 mechanic street and the slayton hill road intersection to improve pedestrian accessibility and safety along the project corridor. Project elements include the installation of granite curbing, bituminous concrete sidewalk, driveway apron reconstruction, stormwater infrastructure, a concrete block retaining wall, landscape restoration, and associated roadway patching.
