PUBLIC NOTICE COMPETITION WAIVER BID WAIVER 2027-027

Description: The City of Coral Gables ("City") intends to directly engage Rodriquez Architects, Inc. as a bid waiver. The city intends to engage Rodriguez Architects, Inc. for the permitting and construction administration phases of the Granada Pump House Renovation project as they are the original architects of record for the project. And it is only feasible to engage them directly to complete the additional phases of the project. This notice is being issued pursuant to Coral Gables Code Section 2-691 Special procurements/Bid Waivers and in conjunction with the City's intention to waive the competitive process to procure the goods or services for a specific need and has determined that competition is not practicable under the circumstances. Any prospective bidder who has received this notice and believes that they can provide the requested product is encouraged to submit information that outlines their qualifications, product information and specific details on how their product or services can provide the specific performance expectations listed above. Information must be submitted to contracts@coralgables.com prior to the deadline of the notice outlined below in order to receive consideration. Certified minority business enterprises (as defined in Florida Statutes §287.0943 and §288.703) and other minority or woman-owned enterprises are encouraged to respond to this notice.
