Advanced Vevo F2xc Imaging System *SOLE SOURCE* RFP
Request for the procurement of the Advanced Vevo F2xc Multi-Modal In Vivo Imaging System from VisualSonics, inclusive of a credit/trade-in allowance for the existing Vevo 3100 system and associated scan heads purchased in 2021. The contract covers the supply, installation, and operational commissioning of the Vevo F2xc platform, which integrate. The system will be housed in the VA Animal Facility and utilized exclusively by the Vascular Laboratory research group for preclinical biomedical research purposes. The Vevo F2xc is an advanced multi‑modal in vivo imaging platform designed for preclinical research. Its enhanced hardware expands imaging capabilities and pushes the boundaries of biomedical imaging. This all‑in‑one, touchscreen‑controlled system integrates ultra‑high‑frequency and low‑frequency ultrasound with photoacoustic imaging, allowing researchers to collect anatomical, functional, mechanical, and molecular data with exceptional precision. We will use the system to support a wide range of imaging applications in animal models. Physiological parameters such as ECG, heart rate, body temperature, and respiration rate can be captured directly from the animal handling platform, providing valuable data that strengthens our research efforts.
