Pleasantville Field Restoration

Description: Work includes field restoration. Description: remove all sod from designated areas, including: the entire infield area, an approx. 12-foot radius around the infield, a 12-foot wide area extending toward the dugout fence along both the first- and third-base lines. Areas shall tie into the perimeter radius to remove existing humps and improve drainage from the infield surface; excavate and remove approx. 6 inches of existing infield clay and infield soil material, existing material shall be stockpiled for the village parks and recreation staff to load and dispose of off-site; furnish and install 25 tons of 2mm USGA- spec sand per infield, sand must be purchased from Carriere materials (914) 469-9092, no substitute material will be accepted.
