Petrifying Springs Parking Addition

Description: Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Existing asphalt removal and disposal. Clearing and Grubbing of existing trees as denoted on the plans. Proof-rolling of existing aggregate base to identify locations for excavation of unsuitable aggregate base and/or subgrade materials, including excavation, compaction of subgrade, installation of geogrid, and placement of breaker run backfill. Saw-cutting, spot removal and disposal curb & gutter immediately adjacent to the roadway. Installation of new concrete curb & gutter. Removal and replacement of new inlets including placing salvaged inlet covers and new covers. Placement of RCP and PVC storm sewer piping and coring into existing structures. Preparation of existing aggregate base together with geogrid prior to hot-mix asphalt (HMA) pavement being placed. Placement of HMA binder and surface course pavements: Binder course: 3 LT 58-28 S (2.5" lift thickness). Surface course: 5 LT 58-28 S (1.5" lift thickness). Erosion control devices as well as restoration using topsoil, seeding and emat.
