PEO-M-U: Battery Bottle RFP

Description: SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM Program Executive Office Maritime, Undersea (PEO-M-U), is hosting an Assessment Event to evaluate industry readiness to manufacture and deliver pressure-capable containment pods for large-format, propagation-resistant batteries used in manned submersibles. The Government seeks cost and schedule estimates plus technical manufacturability reviews of several designs, with the objective of selecting one or more vendors to manufacture and deliver government-provided designs. The vendor would review the designs for manufacturability while the Government retains design authority and performs applicable testing.
