PCCRC/PCCD Birch Creek Diversion Automation Project (Request For Proposal)

Description: Work includes approximately 10' manually operated radial arm gates used to control diversion flows into the b-canal system. The structure also includes a return-flow gate and overflow weir associated with operation and management of flows at the diversion. Existing gates, gate frames, concrete structure, and related diversion components are generally intended to remain in place. The project is focused on retrofitting the existing gate infrastructure with automation, monitoring, telemetry, power, and control components rather than replacing the diversion structure.
