The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Setting up protective barrier fencing around project work areas and staging areas with appropriate signs. This fencing shall be temporary chain link fencing 6 FT high. Inspection of the current conditions at the campus. Renting and Staging of back-up generators for the four buildings impacted (1100, 1200, 1800, 2000). Performing de-energizing and lock-out/tag-out procedures per Cal OSHA. Perform cleaning of the switchgear areas to remove spider webs, hornet nests, and wipe down the area to clean out the switchgear. Tie-in the back-up generators and test to verify no issues with connections. Then, start-up the generators and verify with College M & O that there are not any operational impacts to building systems and everything is powered. Testing as needed. Demolition of the existing 12,000 volt conductors. Inspection of the existing conduit, possibly requiring a camera to inspect and determine if the existing conduit needs to be replaced. Possibly replacing the existing conduit. Separate line item cost. Installation of the new conductors. Add labeling as needed. De-energizing the generators and making new conductor connections. Testing of the new conductors and generation of testing reports. Energizing the new conductors.
