NOTICE TO BIDDERS AND INVITATION FOR BIDS VAN AUKEN STREET SIDEWALK, PROJECT NO. 26-23

Description: The City of Elmhurst is soliciting sealed bids for the Van Auken Street Sidewalk, Project No. 26-23, located in DuPage County, Illinois. The work generally consists of constructing a new five-foot-wide PCC sidewalk along Van Auken Street from Crestview Avenue to Wrightwood Avenue, along with associated driveway removal and reconstruction, roadway narrowing with pavement removal, sodding and landscape restoration, ADA improvements, pavement patching, and all related work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans. Bids must be received by the Office of the City Clerk at Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York Street, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126, with work anticipated to commence on or about October 12, 2026 and to be substantially completed on or before December 4, 2026.
