Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Mission Termination System (MTS) to Autonomy Government Reference Architecture (A-GRA) Software Upgrade

Description: The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base intends to award a sole-source, standalone firm-fixed-price contract for software development and systems integration services to modify the government-owned Mission Termination System (MTS). The requirement is to design, integrate, and test an Autonomy Government Reference Architecture (A-GRA)-compatible interface service and message processor within the MTS flight-test safety-watchdog architecture. The resulting Technology Readiness Level 9 product is intended to support software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and live flight testing of autonomously controlled Unmanned Aerial Systems and Collaborative Combat Aircraft at the 412 TENG Experimental Test Force.
