North Park Public Water District 500,000 Gallon Double Ellipse (Tower 1) Exterior Overcoat, Wet Interior Repaint, and Miscellaneous Repairs RFP

Description: The structure is a 500,000 gal. Double ellipse elevated water storage tank with a low-water level of 130'. Exterior: high-pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 PSI) and spot power tool clean to an SSPC-SP11 standard. Apply a 3 coat epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system. Wet interior: abrasive blast clean to an SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a 3 coat Zinc epoxy system. Apply a polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams. Pit piping: abrasive blast clean to an SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a 2 coat epoxy system. Foundation: repair grout. Water clean and apply a 2 coat epoxy system. Cathodic protection-alternate: install an impressed current cathodic protection system. Mixer-alternate: install a mechanical mixer. Repairs: replace the riser manway gasket. Replace the wet interior roof hatch. Overflow discharge modification. Install a roof/sidewall platform. Install a wet interior ladder. Balcony drain holes. Balcony access modification. Replace roof vent with a pressure vacuum vent. Install cathodic clips and pressure fitting. Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. Install bowl rigging couplings. Install a riser grate. Relocate the aviation light.
