Description: Project is to install 1,094 feet of new jointed rail track directly into the transfer station, converting the facility into a hybrid to load gondola and intermodal style railcars inside the building. Other work includes the installation of new drainage inlets, a rail side ditch and under drain to tie into the existing drainage system, installation of a new combined truck/rail scale utilizing micro piles for the scale foundation, as well as other miscellaneous tasks required for track installation/upgrades to support freight rail activities.
