Qty 1 - P/N IES-200, Ion Energy Spectroscopy (IES) IES Monitors the kinetic energy of ions arriving at the film growth surface, even in the presence of a process gas The spectrometer has the following features. Operates in vacuum as well as in a background gas pressure of up to 200 mTorr. Provides access and control of the most critical PLD parameter: Energy spectrum of ions arriving at the growth surface. in-situ monitoring Quantitative data on optimal film growth conditions in a multi multi-dimensional optimization parameter space. Qty 1 - P/N MLWC-266 Manual Laser Window Changer Manual Laser window changer provides a clean optical beam path for extended periods of operation. A UV grade fused silica window-liner is rotated manually, from a coated position to an uncoated position to provide clean laser beam path. The time to rotate to an uncoated position is determined by the user, based on the type of material deposited and the amount of transmission loss expected for the 266nm wavelength due to the deposit. The silica liner provides 6 such uncoated positions (depending on the existing optics configuration). The silica liner can be cleaned exsitu and can be reused. The main laser window is protected from receiving any deposit from the plasma plume.
