N.Y.C. Groceries Operator(s) RFP

Description: New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), in collaboration with the City of New York, has issued a Request for Proposals seeking one or more (up to a maximum of five) experienced grocery store operators to operate the upcoming N.Y.C. Groceries stores, one to be located in each of the five boroughs. Respondents must demonstrate capability in product sourcing, merchandising, customer service, and staffing of grocery retail operations, with NYCEDC preferring operators with proven ability to open stores on accelerated timelines. Selection will be based on factors including experience operating grocery or other retail food businesses, quality of the proposal, and the level of subsidy requested.
