Modeling consultant to support modeling for TDM Boston Region MPO Model Support - FFY27 (Request for Proposals)

Description: The selected consultant will provide expert model support to advance the Boston Region MPO's travel demand modeling capabilities across two core platforms. This includes re-estimating, calibrating, and delivering the statutory, trip-based TDM28 predictive model for the 2028 Long-Range Transportation Plan using recent Massachusetts household survey data, as well as refining the open-source ActivitySim disaggregate Activity-Based Model platform (TDMx) for exploratory decision support under deep uncertainties. Additionally, the consultant will deliver comprehensive capacity building, training, and technical documentation to enhance CTPS staff skills and support the eventual transition toward next-generation modeling platforms.
