Moccasin Bend Class A P.O.W.E.R Project

Description: The City of Chattanooga’s Class A Process Optimization for Wastewater Energy Recovery (POWER) project will upgrade biosolids and wastewater treatment infrastructure at the Moccasin Bend Environmental Campus. Archer Western Construction is seeking subcontractors, particularly certified DBE/MBE/WBE firms, for the Early Works phase, with bids due September 30, 2026. The project is a capital construction procurement rather than a grant program and is expected to include thermal hydrolysis, anaerobic digestion upgrades, and membrane aerated biofilm reactor technology.
