This RFP is for a rebate program offering financial incentives to commercial business members for eligible retrofit lighting efficiency improvement projects.
Description: Like-for-like replacement of the existing, largely fluorescent- and compact fluorescent-based, luminaires throughout the basement, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth levels, with new led-type luminaires. Luminaire types, quantities, and approximate locations are identified on these drawings. Some areas, including mechanical rooms and areas where recent renovations have been performed, are excluded from this scope of work.

The Office of Energy Resources is seeking a vendor to retrofit 567 existing lighting fixtures to LED fixtures at the Louis Pasteur Building in Cranston and the RI Army National Guard Middletown Armory. The work includes removal of old fixtures and installation of new LED fixtures, with a bid surety bond or certified check and Rhode Island licensing required. The initial 12-month contract is expected to begin in August 2026, with a possible 12-month renewal, and responses are due September 11, 2026.

Project is to upgrade the resident rooms and add a laundry facility on each floor in the McElroy E Hall residence wing. The wing contains 103 student rooms with slight variations to their configurations; each room is approximately 169 sqft. The project includes the anticipated scope of work: Convert one residence room on each floor into a laundry room, first floor laundry room to include a new mechanical room. Roof and exterior wall penetrations will be required for dryer vents and exhaust. Window to be removed and replaced with a louver. The residence upgrades to include the removal of existing VCT and wall base and replaced with new LVT and wall base, removal of existing wall hung lavatory and replaced with new vanity. Replacement of overhead shelving.
