NOI 1220-2026-4281 - Notice of Intent to Direct Award - Lonzo Forcemain Emergency Repair
The City of Abbotsford is contemplating a direct award to PW Trenchless Construction Inc. for emergency repair of the Lonzo sewer pump-station forcemain. The scope has Option 1 for localized pipe relining with a maximum value of $200K CAD exclusive of taxes and Option 2 for directional drilling to replace two forcemains with a maximum value of $1.37M CAD exclusive of taxes, with Option 2 used only if Option 1 is not feasible. The notice says the forcemain has a leak and that expedited work is warranted because delays increase flooding risks, with the total contract value not expected to exceed $1.57M CAD exclusive of taxes.
