Library Foundation Repair Information Gathering Meeting

Description: The City of Schertz holding an Advance Procurement Meeting to explain the proposed project and solicit feedback on the future Library Foundation Repair project to ensure both the City and vendors have clear understanding of the project when it goes forward. This meeting is not part of the official bidding solicitation process for this proposed project and will not require any proposal submissions or be awarded to any vendor. The City of Schertz intends to bid this project in early 2027. As this meeting is solely information gathering in nature there will be no proposals submitted, no award of contract, or no guarantee of future award. Attendance of this meeting is not a mandatory requirement to submit on a future project related to this meeting. The proposed project includes excavation around the perimeter of the library building; replacement of the existing composite soil barriers between the beams and the ground with pre-cast concrete panels; backfill and compact the excavation; and restore the surface, including landscaping.
