Main Street Reconstruction Information Gathering Meeting

Description: The City of Schertz holding an Advance Procurement Meeting to explain and solicit feedback on the future Main Street Reconstruction project. This meeting is not part of the official bidding solicitation process for this proposed project. This meeting is not part of the official bidding solicitation process for this proposed project and will not require any proposal submissions or be awarded to any vendor. The City of Schertz intends to bid this project in early 2027.As this meeting is solely information gathering in nature there will be no proposals submitted, no award of contract, or no guarantee of future award. Attendance of this meeting is not a mandatory requirement to submit on a future project related to this meeting. The proposed project includes replacement of the water and wastewater mains in Main Street between Aviation Boulevard and Schertz Parkway; installation of a new utility duct bank; installation of street lighting; reconstruction of the pavement section; and other surface improvements. Other surface improvements include curb, gutter, and sidewalk replacement; large monument signage; landscaping; and other amenities to make the corridor more inviting.
