Kicking Horse Dam and Outlet Works Modification

Description: Construction of a cement-bentonite slurry cutoff wall through the embankment of the dam and dike #2, construction of a two-stage filter toe drain, rebuild of the dam crest and dike #2 crest, raising of canal road along the reservoir, construction of permanent and temporary access roads, removal and replacement of the existing outlet works, removal and replacement of the downstream check/wasteway structure in the ninepipe feeder canal, and relocation of g-canal downstream of the dam.
