Description: Joe Pool Dam Slide Repair. The contractor shall repair four shallow slides (Slides 18, 20, 21, and 28) on the upstream and downstream dam embankment slopes. Work includes the removal of slide debris; excavation of the slide area with bench-cutting into the stable embankment and a keyway into the foundation toe; lime-treatment of excavated soil; placement and compaction of treated soil to restore original design contours; and final surface restoration with riprap on the upstream slope and topsoil with vegetation on the downstream slope.
