Description: The Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners seeks a qualified corporation, professional organization, or similar legal entity to operate an impaired practitioners program. The contractor will provide screening, intervention, prevention, monitoring, random drug screening coordination, case-file maintenance, rehabilitation recommendations, and Board meeting support for credential holders or applicants impaired by illness, alcohol or drug abuse, or other physical or mental conditions. The initial contract is anticipated to run from October 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028, with up to two additional two-year renewals; proposals are due September 28, 2026.
