Group 5B Lead Service Line Replacement Project

Description: Work includes the replacement of existing lead, lead-lined, and galvanized water services with new polyethylene or copper water service lines, inclusive of the water main tap, service saddle (if required), service tubing, curb stop and box, and connection to the customer's inside service line. If both inside and outside service lines are found to be composed of lead, lead-lined, or galvanized materials, the service line shall be replaced from the water main to the meter. A full-service line flush from the water main to the meter is required following the service installation. The work includes surface restoration of disturbed areas. Description: 140 EA of test pit excavation; 3120 LF of fencing for tree protection; 1 LS of maintenance and protection of traffic. See outside link.
