Green Acres Water Main Replacement

Description: The project generally consists of the installation of 6,460 LF of 8" ductile iron water main and 480 LF of 6" ductile iron water main, along with the construction of twenty (20) new fire hydrant assemblies and associated appurtenances. Work also includes the transfer of existing water services to the new distribution system, abandonment of obsolete water infrastructure, and restoration of disturbed areas. Roadway improvements include 6,120 SY of concrete pavement replacement and 485 LF of concrete curb and gutter replacement. The project will require implementation and maintenance of erosion and sedimentation control measures throughout construction, including stabilization of disturbed areas, inlet protection, dust control, and other best management practices necessary to comply with applicable permitting requirements. 28 EA 8" gate valve w/box, 1 EA 4'x8' construction sign.
