Description: Charlotte Water, a department of the City of Charlotte, is seeking qualified companies to provide finished surface cleaning and restoration services for facilities and surfaces it owns or maintains. The work includes cleaning and restoration of interior flooring, windows, wood, stone, metal, masonry, HVAC ductwork, upholstery, and other surfaces, including pressure washing and high-bay cleaning. The RFP opened on September 22, 2026, and proposals are due by October 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT; a non-mandatory virtual pre-proposal conference is scheduled for October 2, 2026.

FY27 42SFS CATM Range Cleaning RFP
The 84-point firing range must be cleaned and maintained to be free of hazardous materials, compliant with Civil Engineering and Bio-Environmental standards. Key government-owned equipment to be serviced includes: Bullet Traps: Savage Range Systems (Model: 800D w/Auger) (x2); Dust Collection Units (DCU): Southern Air and Filtration Inc. (x2); Air Compressor: SpeedAire (Model: 35WC63). Range Cleaning. The contractor shall: Clean all debris and material in front of and inside the trough/throat of both bullet traps. Perform a full HEPA vacuuming of each of the 84 firing positions, from the firing line to the backstop. This includes all horizontal exposed surfaces and any vertical surfaces likely to be touched or disturbed. See attached file.
