Description: Placer County is soliciting bids from contractor(s) to remove and process approximately 2,520 green tons of deteriorated whole-log biomass in the French Meadows project area on the Tahoe National Forest. The work includes loading, hauling, chipping, and delivery to the Rio Bravo–Rocklin biomass facility, with compliance required with the French Meadows Project NEPA decision and procedures for removing forest products from national forest lands.
