Description: Work includes mow the entire football field on a regular schedule (3 times per week during the growing season); keep grass height at 1. 25"; use equipment made for athletic fields; change mowing directions to avoid wearing down the turf; remove or spread grass clippings as needed; apply fertilizer 4 6 times per year or based on soil testing; maintain records of application dates, products used, and quantities; edge along sidewalks, curbs, and paved areas; apply pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides as needed.
