Flood Resilience Grants Available From Public Works Board Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)
The December 2025 Flood Resilience Grant program is a one-time, dedicated fund authorized in the 2026 Supplemental Capital Budget for the Public Works Board to make emergency grants to local governments for public works projects that were made necessary by the December 2025 weather event. Projects must result in long-term environmental benefits and increased resilience to the impacts of climate change. Awards are capped at $2 million each.
