Fiber Optic Line Locating Services

Description: La Plata County and the City of Durango, through the County Procurement Division, seek proposals from qualified contractors to locate and mark utility infrastructure owned and operated by both entities. The work includes locating fiber-optic cable and related facilities such as splice enclosures, conduit, locate wire, pull boxes, and manholes, using qualified staff, vehicles, marking materials, and traffic controls. The work is onsite under a one-year contract, with location information provided through each locate request or the City's GIS viewer.
