Family to Family Support Services - 2027 (Request for Proposal)

Description: Qualified vendors to provide the clients family peer support services. Family Peer Support Services is a Medicaid-reimbursable service provided by qualified Family Peer Support Specialists (FPSS) a person with lived experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a child with a behavioral health or emotional condition who uses that experience to support other parents and caregivers navigating similar challenges. Services are strength-based, recovery-oriented, and person-centered, designed to: Strengthen the caregiver's capacity to support their child's behavioral health and emotional needs; Enhance connection to community resources, services, and supports; Build effective advocacy skills within child-serving systems; and Promote resiliency, wellness, and empowerment for both the caregiver and family.
