Full Body Scanner - Corrections RFP
Kent County seeks proposals for an all-inclusive full body scanner for its Correctional Facility in Grand Rapids. The proposal must address scanner dimensions, scan time, power, hardware and software, and detection of varied threats and contraband, as well as adjustable dose settings, battery backup, user access controls, training, and installation or relocation of equipment. Respondents must also describe removal and disposal of the existing secondary system, warranty and service arrangements, maintenance costs, and delivery timing; evaluation may consider price, delivery, and life-cycle costs.
