The work performed under this contract shall include geotechnical drilling, sampling, creation and management of field drilling records, laboratory testing, and the creation and management of laboratory testing records. The contractor shall perform all operations in accordance with this contract and submit invoices to the government according to the agreed-upon unit price for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN). Boring Locations and Surveying. The Government will provide the Contractor with a general map, aerial photograph, and project drawing showing the project location and proposed boring locations. Minor field adjustments of the proposed boring locations as shown on the drawings shall be permitted without prior Government approval, provided the deviation is less than 50 feet. Any field adjustments of 50 feet or more from the proposed location must be approved in writing and in advance by the Government. The borings shall be numbered on the field logs exactly as indicated in the Contract attachments. See attached file.
