Edgewood Apartments Storage Buildings RFP

Description: Provide eighty-one (81) resident storage units, consisting of one storage unit for each apartment, and one new maintenance garage. The Scope of work includes: Storage buildings. Nine groups of individual storage units, one unit for each apartment. Storage units to be grouped together under one roof to efficiently use available space on site. Roof to have architectural shingles. Each storage unit to be approx. 5' x 8'. Each storage unit will have one access door. Storage building walls to be CMU. One maintenance garage for the housing authority. Maintenance garage to be 36' x 32'. Exterior wall composition to be 2x6 wood studs with CMU. R-21 Batt insulation in the walls, R-38 Batt insulation in the attic to meet energy codes. Maintenance garage will have water, sewage, heat, and a restroom. Site. Access roads at the front of the storage buildings, connecting to the existing parking area. Access to the maintenance garage will be on the other side of the storage buildings away from the main road. Site MEP to the maintenance garage. Electric. LED lights in soffit of roof for the storage buildings. Power and lighting in the Maintenance Garage. Mechanical. Heating in the maintenance garage. Plumbing. Plumbing in the maintenance garage.
