Summary
Work includes drain, remove debris and pressure wash pools, remove dirt and loose paint in preparation for painting or filling. The contractor shall provide all power washing equipment necessary for the completion of work. CA will provide muriatic acid in 5-gallon carboys, and Soda Ash for use on plaster bodies of water. 2. Draining of pools must be done in accordance with MDE (Maryland Department of the Environment), state and county health department rules and regulations. Contractor is responsible for providing all necessary equipment to drain the pools. Draining locations for each pool have been provided as a separate attachment. 3. Remove pool covers, lower all cover pins and leave covers folded on the pool deck. CA will be responsible for putting the covers away after Contractor has completed the drain and cleaning work. 4. CA will be responsible for refilling the pools after the Contractor has completed the work. 5. Remove all debris (remove and legally disposed of offsite). 6. CA will provide electricity and water onsite. 7. Vacuum out all skimmer bodies and throats using wet/dry vacuum cleaner. CA can provide training to complete this process. 8. Record and submit water quality readings for chlorine, pH and turbidity levels to CA for all bodies of water that are drained and cleaned. CA can provide the materials for the turbidity testing, as well as instruction on how to take the water quality readings.
