Design-Build of a Tier II Mobile Command Post Vehicle (MCPV) Trailer - (Request for Proposal)

Description: The Contractor shall design, engineer, manufacture, integrate, verify, test, train, deliver, warrant, and support Tier II Mobile Command Post Vehicle (MCPV) systems under a single-award, firm-fixed-price, Indefinite- Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The initial delivery order is anticipated to include the nonrecurring design/build effort and one production-representative first-article MCPV trailer. The first article is the only trailer quantity guaranteed by the basic contract. Follow-on production trailers, prime haulers, and other authorized supplies or services will be furnished only when specifically ordered by a funded delivery order. Each MCPV shall be delivered as a complete, integrated, roadworthy, operationally ready command, control, communications, and computer (C4) platform capable of supporting classified and unclassified mission operations when configured with Government-authorized equipment and security controls. The prime Contractor shall remain the Government’s single point of accountability for design authority, systems integration, configuration control, quality, testing, documentation, warranty administration, and lifecycle support, regardless of the use of subcontractors, suppliers, dealers, or original equipment manufacturers.
