CRP – Brake Air Dryer Cartridges RFP

Description: Furnish and deliver replacement parts for the brake system used on buses. The air brake systems on buses use air dryers. The cartridge in each air dryer functions to remove moisture, oil and other contaminants that would otherwise reach the air tanks, while the air dryer alternates between two modes or "cycles" during use (the charge cycle and the purge cycle). Both cycles play an important part in keeping the air tanks as clean as possible.
