Description: Work includes removal and replacement of existing elevator systems and the furnishing and installation of new elevator equipment, including machines, controls, hoistway components, car enclosures, doors, communication systems, safety devices, and associated electrical components. The work also includes testing, inspection, commissioning, training, and coordination with NYCHA and other trades, including a separate electrical contract.
