Contract 159 - Raritan Valley Pumping Station Electrical Upgrades RFP

Description: The Raritan Valley Pumping Station Electrical Upgrades Work includes repairs and service to the Authority’s Raritan Valley Pump Building as is prescribed by the Owner in the contract drawings that will be issued to the Contractor. The Work includes the following: Replacement of the existing 30kW standby diesel generator with a new natural gas unit. Replacement of the existing 240V power panel located in the Pump Building and the consolidation of a second 120V lighting panel into a single 240V/3-phase panelboard. Replacement of existing raw sewage pump starters with new variable frequency drives (VFD). Replacement of the existing PLC. New louvers and HVAC equipment associated with the replacement of the existing generator. General site Civil coordination associated with a new natural gas service installed by the utility provider. Installation of telemetry utility pole. The work will take place at the Pumping Station located at 35 Briscoe Terrace, approximately 1/2-mile North of the intersection of Bethany Road and Garden State Parkway, Hazlet, New Jersey.
