Summary
The Town of Okotoks is soliciting proposals for the construction of a Raw Water Reservoir as part of the larger Foothills Okotoks Regional Water (FORW) Project, which will provide raw water for potable water treatment. The scope of work involves constructing approximately 300,000 m3 of raw water storage open to the atmosphere, including a synthetic liner, underdrain and venting system, geocomposite, pump station intake screen and support structure, water main installation, gravel road construction, fencing, landscaping, and embankments classified as a 'Significant' Consequence dam under the Alberta Dam and Canal Safety Directive. The Town of Okotoks is the sole Owner for this Raw Water Reservoir project, which is being procured as an Open & Competitive Negotiated Request for Proposal subject to NWPTA, CFTA, TCA, and CETA trade agreements.
