Columbia Heights Substation

Description: The work for the project includes Site development includes an access driveway, clearing, excavation, grading, backfill, compaction, and installation of site surfacing material; Install substation perimeter masonry wall panels on the three exterior sides of the Phase I yard, including a sliding drive gate along E. 16th Ave.; The existing fence between the Phase I and Phase II areas will require a minor adjustment and serve as an isolation safety fence between Phases; Construct all foundations and include the oil containment system for the transformer; Install vaults, drainage pipes, LV conduits, HV feeder conduits, and grounding; nstall the new power transformer and control building on their foundation pads; Install steel structures, non-segregated bus, rigid bus, bus supports, jumpers, and other equipment to make the physical construction complete.
