Coarse Rock Salt and Treated Salt (Request for Bid) *Rebid*

Description: The highway department is soliciting sealed competitive bids to furnish and deliver bulk winter maintenance materials for snow and ice control throughout the 2026-2027 season ; specifically consisting of an estimated contract quantity of approx 19,950 TN of sodium chloride crushed Coarse Rock Salt / Type A treated with an anticaking conditioner ; and approx 1,500 TN of granular Treated Salt pre-mixed thoroughly at a baseline ratio of at least 8 gallons of corrosion-inhibited liquid magnesium chloride product per ton of salt crystals ; with firm net net-per-ton pricing to encompass all customs, duties, and complete offloading at various participating political subdivisions, municipalities, and stockpile garage locations.
