City of Florence Municipal Wireless Network Infrastructure Upgrade (Request for Proposal)

Description: Seeking a qualified contractor or vendor to design, furnish, and implement a new wireless infrastructure system to support municipal controls traffic and video communications. The project includes deployment of a new wireless layer 2 network capable of vlan creation, vlan trunking, ethernet bridging, automatic failover, and segmented quality of service (qos) prioritization. The upgraded system will operate as the primary communication path, with the existing 900 mhz radio network retained as the automatic fallback path. Proposers will work with city staff and the city's operational technology (ot) managed security services provider (mssp) to ensure compatibility with established security policies and performance standards. The project supports simultaneous high priority control/scada traffic and up to approximately 16 mbps of peak video traffic per site.
