CDBG-MIT Trenchless Installation of Utilities Across Flemming Channel RFP

Description: Work includes relocating the existing 30" influent wastewater pipeline and 8" water supply pipeline, to a new underground alignment beneath fleming key cut approx 458 LF of 72" steel casing installed by microtunneling using a microtunnel boring machine (mtbm), launched and received from watertight shafts approx 30' and 45 to 50' deep. The casing will accommodate the relocated 30" wastewater and 8" water pipelines, both constructed of fused c-900 pipe, as well as future 30" and 18" pipelines that will be installed and capped approximately 5' below finished grade.
