CDBG-DR SMA Healthcare Ridgewood Flood Mitigation Construction RFP

Description: Volusia County’s Office of Recovery and Resiliency is soliciting construction services for passive flood mitigation improvements at the SMA Outpatient facility in Daytona Beach. The work includes waterproofing and flood-resistant construction, replacing openings with flood-rated assemblies, and elevating mechanical and electrical equipment to protect the building to an 8.0-foot flood elevation. The estimated project duration is approximately 180 days, and the project is funded through HUD’s Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery program but is an Invitation for Bid for construction services rather than a grant program.
