Ecological Facility Stormwater Improvements RFP
Work includes excavation and installation of an infiltration basin, regrading an access road and installation of a drainage swale and other items.
Description: Project consists of drainage and parking lot improvements for a fire dispatch building. The project includes the installation of a new exterior crawl space entrance, replacement of approximately 280-LF of 4-inch roof drain pipe, approximately 90 square yards of concrete surfacing surrounding the building, an 85-LF interceptor trench, a 70-LF shallow drain within the building’s 2.5-foot height crawl space, grading within the crawl space, 3 new catch basins and associated piping, and site restoration including, but not limited to, restoration of concrete, asphalt, grass areas, and a small rockery. The additive schedule includes a chip seal and fog seal treatment for approximately 1,860 SY of parking lot, to include site preparation, removing and reinstalling wheel stops, and applying paint markings in kind. The additive schedule also includes a new HMA driveway connecting the parking lot with an accessible parking pad near the dispatch building.
