The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is soliciting interest and feedback from potential bidders on construction of the Canyon Tunnel Hetchy Adit Improvement Project. This Request for Interest is informational and is intended to inform a subsequent competitive procurement, rather than itself solicit binding construction bids. SFPUC describes the underlying project as installing a new reinforced-concrete plug downstream of the existing Hetchy Adit plug and rehabilitating O'Shaughnessy Adit Access Bridge, including substructure retrofit and superstructure replacement.
